Service Description

You've Been Bearded is a web-based application that allows users to upload portrait images and apply AI-generated facial hair using Google Gemini's AI technology.

When you use our service, your images are processed as follows:

• Your uploaded image is resized and compressed to optimize processing
• The processed image is sent to Google's Gemini AI for facial hair generation
• The resulting image is watermarked with our domain
• Both your original and processed images are stored

Our service is provided for entertainment purposes only. The AI-generated images are not intended to be used for identification, verification, or any other official purpose.

Usage Limitations

Our service is subject to the following usage limitations:

• Each user is limited to 5 free image generations per 24-hour period, tracked by IP address and cookies.
• Maximum image file size for upload is 5MB.
• Supported image formats include JPG, PNG, and GIF.

User Responsibilities

When using our service, you agree to:

• Only upload images that you have the right to use and share.
• Not upload images containing inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content.
• Not attempt to circumvent our usage limitations or security measures.
• Not use our service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Not interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to the service.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the original images you upload to our service. However, by uploading images, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process these images for the purpose of providing our service and improving our AI algorithms.

The AI-generated images produced by our service are provided to you for personal, non-commercial use. All generated images include a watermark with our domain name. This watermark cannot be removed and serves to identify images created using our service.

By using our service, you acknowledge that the AI-generated images are created using Google Gemini's technology, and the intellectual property rights to the AI model and generation process belong to Google.

All other content, including but not limited to our website design, logo, and software, is owned by You've Been Bearded and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We do not warrant that the results obtained from using our service will be accurate, reliable, or meet your requirements. The AI-generated images are created using Google Gemini's machine learning algorithms and may not always produce the expected results. The quality and appearance of the generated facial hair depend on various factors, including the quality of the uploaded image, the selected style and intensity, and the capabilities of the AI model.

We make no warranties regarding the storage of your images, and while we implement reasonable security measures, we cannot guarantee that your data will be completely secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of our service.
